Why would they be looking to move any of these guys? Simple answer, to sign the last remaining big name FA bat on the market, Manny Ramirez. DUH!!! The commenters all figured that out as well.
The thought of the middle of the Yankees lineup is pretty awesome, but I really wish the Yanks would look at upgrading CF more than anything. The Steinbrenners love Manny, and you saw that when they decided they wanted Teix, they got the deal done. We will be tracking…

If the Yanks sign Manny, baseball will institute a salary cap. This would be the final straw. But, he would probably destroy that clubhouse. Clearly, he isn’t very professional, and he can’t argue that he’s all about winning after what he did in Boston.

i dont mean this as a bad thing…i think boston is one of the few teams that treats the game as a business…they do not get emotionally attached to players – most teams do
